On the evening of April 9, Ningbo Entry-exit Border Inspection Station, together with the Entry-exit Administration Bureau of Ningbo Public Security Bureau, the Port and Navigation Branch of Ningbo Public Security Bureau, and the case team of Xiangshan County Public Security Bureau, according to data analysis and intelligence investigation and judgment, found that a cargo ship was drifting on the sea track, disappearing and appearing, and suspected that the ship was carrying out smuggling criminal activities, and immediately organized police to track and prepare for arrest.

In the early morning of April 10, the cargo ship entered the line of sight of the police on duty, "Action!"

At around 5 am on April 10, the joint task force conducted a boarding inspection of the ship in Xiangshan Sea area of Ningbo. During the inspection of the cargo hold, a large number of frozen products such as beef ribs and beef were found, and the ship could not provide proof of legal origin for them, which was suspected of smuggling. During the operation, a total of 12 suspects were arrested, one ship was seized at the scene, and more than 60 tons of smuggled frozen goods were seized.
